Assess · Treat · Personalise

I work with musculoskeletal tension and dysfunction, situations in which stress and posture affect overall balance, postpartum recovery, temporomandibular joint disorders and visceral disorders. Every treatment starts from a careful assessment. Every programme is tailored to the person and their needs.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions I am asked most often before the first session. For anything else, message me on WhatsApp.

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a manual discipline that looks after the person as a whole. Through assessment, palpation and manual techniques it works on tension and imbalances of the musculoskeletal, fascial and visceral systems, supporting the body's ability to find its own balance again.

What happens in the first session?

The first step is listening: I gather your history, habits and the information needed to understand the context. This is followed by an assessment of joint mobility, tissue tension and postural balance, and finally the treatment, built on what has emerged. The session is one to one, with no overlaps and no rush.

How does the online request work?

Choose the treatment, location, day and time: your request reaches me and I reply by email, within 12 hours for Studio Cerva and within 48 for Clinica Luce, because I first check room availability with the clinic. Until I reply, the time slot stays reserved for you. For hypopressive training at home there is no calendar: I check your address first.

Where do you see patients?

I see patients at Studio Cerva, Via Cerva 23 (central Milan), for osteopathy treatments only, and at Clinica Luce, Corso di Porta Romana 120, for osteopathy treatments and individual hypopressive training sessions. Hypopressive training sessions are also available at home in areas of central Milan. When booking, you choose the most convenient location.

How many sessions are needed?

It depends on the situation and on how the body responds. Every treatment respects the body's time to adapt: after the first assessment we agree together on a realistic programme, without forcing.

What are Pilates and hypopressive training?

They are active work tools that I integrate with manual treatment when the programme can benefit from them. Pilates is mindful movement with a clinical focus (functional strength, motor control, postural re-education); hypopressive training works on breathing, deep core and internal pressures for abdominopelvic rebalancing.

Is osteopathy useful after childbirth?

Yes. Treatment accompanies recovery after childbirth with attention to the pelvic floor, posture and abdominal pressures, combined when indicated with hypopressive training.

Do you treat jaw (TMJ) disorders?

Yes. Jaw tension, joint clicking, bruxism and pain referred to the neck are among the situations I treat most often, with gentle techniques on the chewing muscles and the cervical area.
